In the latest roundtable discussion about Novo Nordisk, you guys mentioned that the stock can be purchased from the CPH. The stock is also available in NYSE. Any difference buying from CPH as compared to NYSE ?

Hi Razid,

The one in NYSE is an ADR. The original ticker is the CPH

Is there any disadvantage of buying ADR instead of the original ticker ?

There is a chance that the government may force the ADR to delist, which happened a few years ago for China stocks.
