Hello,
I have a few questions regarding MarketAxess' Balance Sheet (take 2022 annual report for example):
- Under Assets, there is a line item called "Investments, at fair value". Is this the same as marketable securities?
- Under Assets, there is a line item called "Receivables from broker-dealers, clearing organizations and customers". Is this a type of Trade Receivable?
- The balance sheet did not segregate current assets from non-current assets. My guess is Goodwill, Intangible assets, Furniture, equipment, leasehold improvements and ca[italized software, and operating lease right-of-use assets are non-current assets while the others are current assets. Is this correct?
- Similarly, the balance sheet does not segregate current liabilities from non-current liabilities. My guess is they all all current liabilities except operating lease liabilities (which is a non-current liability). Is this correct?
