Hi Fifth Person,

Just wondering if you would still recommend to read investing books even after completing the course? and if so, can I please ask if you have any suggestion on a book to read if i only have time to read just 1 book?

I like the style of long term investing in growth stocks. Where I can continuously keep myself updated with the company and industry and just hold on to the stock. I do play poker in the past hence I have some understanding of probability & risk, reward. I'm hoping to get the most value and insights to investing from reading the book. Perhaps maybe a book which totally changed your view on investing and made you go: wow.. now that's a good book! The whole world should read this! haha

Any suggestion for a book or perhaps afew books which i can choose from? Oh would be great and most helpful if you can also shed some light on the reason for the suggestion of the book/books?

Thanks so much for all the investing help that you all are giving. They are really and really appreciate it. Am having some financial gains from investing though nothing spectacular. But I am happy to be able to get some profit and not lose money haha. =)

Hi Jianwen,

There’s one piece of reading that really gave me a paradigm shift in how I view investing. It’s not exactly a book, but a lecture that was transcribed into a PDF. The lecture was given by Joel Greenblatt, someone I really respect for his investing style. You can check it out here: https://focusedcompounding.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Joel-Greenblatt-Class.pdf
